This is taken from our back garden. It was not the reason I chose this theme. Normally this fence which belongs to our neighbour looks so uninteresting. But in the fog and frost I found it more inspiring.

Ooooh, delightful. Yes wistful is a good word. I love it and its fogginess and the fences and sparse trees. I like the repetition of the vericals in the trees and fence posts and contrasting horizontal lines. Charming. I will await Val's possible suggested crop.
Of the fence and path ones posted so far, this is my most favorite by FAR.
I meant of yours.
