This is from the same tree (could even be the same pic) as the flowering cherry blossom picture I posted on BP the other day. I highlighted the background and turned it white. Then went back over the edges with a soft brush.

I wonder of you applied erase to the edge at a low opacity to fade it into the background a little more if that would be better or not.
