It is particularly lush along the wall! I actually found some sphagnum moss over the woods. I would never have recognised it but there was masses of it in New Zealand. That is THE place to go for mosses. One day I should scan in some prints of Oz and NZ. I have one large print of mosses on the wall in our dining room. They were growing on an old log and there were masses of differerent varieties all within a small area.
This is not a great shot, but some idea of how green and lush the moss gets at this time of year.
