Trees - Pines and Ferns

The ferns seem to be holding up well in the dry weather. I think they make a lot of condensation from night to morning. I know this as I have a secret path which I chopped back myself and use as a short cut but it is too wet to walk through it especially when it has been windy and all the ferns have collapsed into the path. This is not it!

Well I guess they grow taller than me so long as they don't get flattened.

I've never seen ferns that tall. I went into the "bush" yesterday, and 5 steps in got covered in mosquitoes and left. No bug spray with me, so will have to go back for trees. This photos shows a verse dense section, hard to see the ferns.

the denseness creates an interesting atmostphere.

very wild-looking

I am amazed that our ferns are bigger than yours. Usually anything and everything is smaller over here.

Not worth getting stung for Val!
