Holiday: Dragon Driftwood
Holiday: Dragon Driftwood, by Mary Stebbins. Taken on our holiday trip to the Pinery. Fog! Click image to view (much!) larger.
This is quite similar in some respects to the orginal. However, I cropped it, added the sun and birds from other photos taken around the same time and upped the overall red slightly under curves.

Sunshine on my Shoulder Makes Me Happy (Holiday Outtake)
Sunshine on my Shoulder Makes Me Happy (Holiday Outtake), by Mary Stebbins, click image to view larger. This is Keith on the beach at the Pinery at sunset. That's the real sun, lost in the haze. Hot day! You can see the water, the lost horizon, if you look closely. I did nothing to this picture but remove a spot and lighten it slightly.

Tern fish-watching
Tern fish-watching, by Mary Stebbins. Click on image to view larger. Animals intake. This too was at Detroit Metrobeach, using the sport setting and 300 mm zoom.
I have to tell you though, more than half the pictures didn't focus properly. BUT, it was a treat to succeed at getting at least some of them captured.
