OK, I know this is silly, but I was playing with layers. Every single component in this picture is in a different layer.I love Moo's sunflower sky picture. This is a poor cousin, very poor, but it is instructive in the use of layers for constructing something.

So how did you do it? And how for example if the pot on the head is separate to the head did you get it to fit the head?

The pot is in two layers, one above and one below the head. They started out as ovals and then I used another oval (eliptical marque tool) to cut off part of the upper one.
