This is quite similar in some respects to the orginal. However, I cropped it, added the sun and birds from other photos taken around the same time and upped the overall red slightly under curves.

Hot day! You can see the water, the lost horizon, if you look closely. I did nothing to this picture but remove a spot and lighten it slightly.

I have to tell you though, more than half the pictures didn't focus properly. BUT, it was a treat to succeed at getting at least some of them captured.
