This is in our town and I can almost walk there (easier to ride my bike). We go here a lot to walk and take pictures and relax by the water. We don't have a boat so we are not part of the boat culture.
Last night we rode down on our motorcycles and had the cameras in the saddlebags. When we came down the hill, the bay was full of sailboats, and the lighting was incredible, but there was nowhere to park there and I couldn't reach the the camera. So I missed a lovely shot. But I saw it with my eyes and it made my heart leap with joy.

I love the water and we go there often. Both where we live in Detroit and where I live(d) in B'ville are near water.
